About ABCO

The owner of ABCO Investigations, Timothy Keane, is a retired police Sergeant after 29 years of honorable and distinguished service with the Ocean City Police Department. Thereafter continued his Law Enforcement career serving 10 years with the Worcester County, MD Sheriffs Office. Through his many years of dedicated service, he has developed a vast knowledge and expertise in all types of investigations and has received specialized training in most every facet of police work. He has served as a police supervisor for 24 years out of 29 years experience, has an excellent reputation and is highly respected amongst his peers and the community.

Through his years of service, he has been attached to the Uniform Patrol Division, Narcotics & Detective Divisions and also headed other Specialized Units within the agency. Along with many years of experience and networking come countless important contacts, both personal and professional, which facilitates in the investigation process. Mr. Keane has been the recipient of many awards and commendations highlighting his years of service.

ABCO Investigations was founded in March of 2001 and has grown tremendously since then. ABCO Investigations and Protection Agency is licensed in both the states of Maryland and Delaware and has expanded their business and security operations with offices in College Park, Maryland and Sussex County, Delaware. What started out as part time in a home location has now grown to a new modern commercial office location in Berlin, MD.

ABCO investigators and specialists are available on call for any case that may arise even at short notice. We offer a variety of other services including live scan fingerprinting in Berlin, MD, wear & carry firearm training, and HQL Maryland training. Our investigators are always receiving in-service training and remain up to date on both state and federal laws. Each investigator is required to pass a quarterly written test and other exams qualifying them on proper procedures & laws. Our investigators conduct themselves in adherence to all privacy / trespassing laws which is why our surveillance reports & pictures / videos will be admissible in a court of law.
