Polygraph Testing

A polygraph examination is the verification of truth or deception utilizing an instrument designed to record, on a moving chart drive, a person’s responses while answering a series of specific questions presented by a trained and certified polygraph examiner. ABCO Investigations, LLC charges a standard fee "for services rendered" for a complete polygraph examination. A non-refundable deposit is required with an executed contract and scheduling. The examination includes the initial interview, a lengthy pre-exam subject interview and question preparation, a multiple-chart polygraph examination and a conclusion and written confirmation of the results at the end of the session. The process is administered in our office and may take up to three hours.

If the subject matter, interview or a request for verification of deception runs beyond, then an hourly rate shall apply thereafter. If you have taken an examination or have been asked to do so and would like a confidential consultation ABCO's Chief Examiner is available by phone or in person for a charge at an hourly rate or 1/10th fraction thereof. Although ABCO Investigations, LLC does provide a written conclusion of findings, often for various reasons a more comprehensive written report of the exam conclusion is required. ABCO Investigations, LLC will make this available upon signed request and payment of a standard fee.

Examinations are conducted at the business office but because service and equipment is transportable ABCO Investigations, LLC can make provisions to do the test at your location if necessary or requested, however, travel time is not included in the fee and will be charged at a rate per mile/round trip from our office.

Pre-employment tests in multi-person sessions is a new service ABCO Investigations, LLC will be offering through their Polygraph Division.

ABCO's Chief Examiner and consultant is a Backster School of Lie Detection* trained and certified polygraph examiner with 32 years experience in the Polygraph industry. He conducts examinations in accordance with this prescribed method of study and conclusions. Cases of examinations have involved thefts, homicides, rapes, arsons and robbery for both the prosecution and defense and the private industry. He has provided the law enforcement community with pre-employment exams and completed multi-series internal theft inquiries using the polygraph.

ABCO Investigation Polygraph is supported by our other Divisions will conduct confidential exams regarding paternity dispute and marital discord matters and other civil issues utilizing the polygraph as one or the only investigative aid. Mr. Simmons background has spanned both the government and private sectors. He graduated from an accredited law enforcement academy and was a police officer. Advanced to the rank of Detective and was in the Robbery & Homicide Division in a large metropolitan Bureau of Police. He was the Chief Investigator in the Department of Justice, White-Collar & Fraud unit and served as a Special Agent for a Fortune 500 company.

He received specialized training from the Secret Service and the IRS. Has an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Law Enforcement, a Bachelor of Science with minor studies in psychology and a Juris Doctor from Widener University, School of Law.
